Once there you will be shown some of the town’s lovely places before being taken to your Accommodation where you can unpack your luggage and freshen up and prepare for your catfishing journey on the river Ebro where we hope you will catch one of the biggest catfish you've ever seen.

The bait we will be using is live Carp, Eel and Mullet baits. For the angler who has time, there will be the oppertunity to fish the drains on the Ebro Delta. We can mix and match whatever the guest require, just say and it will be sorted. There is the chance to bag up with a really good net of carp, but these are not monster carp all though the odd specimens are caught from time to time, its truely great fun on light tackle and should be tried, has these carp fight very hard. ( BRILLIANT FUN )

Billy has been fishing for the wels catfish in the lower Ebro for over twelve years to date, firstly fishing from the bank. The last six years having bought a 14ft aluminium purpose built boat and having a quite successful time catfishing, with a catch rate equal to many of the other top rated guides on the river Ebro. But now having taken on the lease of an excellent apartment of a previous guide who has returned to the UK. I can now offer accommodation and catfishing packages at sensible prices.
Places of interest in the area include TORTOSA a smashing town with plenty of history, shops and a wonderful indoor market, the river EBRO runs through here and it holds some nice sized carp, the biggest one i witnessed being caught was 28lb by mr Paul Thornton, there are also barbel to be had allthough these are not as plentiful as some would have you believe (check out the TESTIMONIALS page).
AMPOSTA is where we usually launch the boat. This is quite a large town and it as a Tuesday market with plenty of modern bargains to be had at really cheap prices. If you figure out the one way system in AMPOSTA, please let me know how you did it? AMPOLLA is just along the coast it is a very beautiful port with a fantastic beach, harbour, top class restaurants and tapas bars.
Other favourite places of ours are: RIO MAR situated at the end of the RIVER EBRO. Further up the RIVER EBRO there are some really beautiful villages with the most friendly locals you could wish to meet. These places are well worth a trip and include: SANT JAUME DE ENVEJA with its car ferry across the river EBRO, cutting miles off your journey, if needed. LA CAVA great little place, is it anything to do with the drink of the same name? CAMPREDO, BITEM, TIVENYS, ALDOVER, XERTA... MIRAVET, with it's magnificent castle, something to do with the crusades i believe. theres also another smaller car ferry here, try it if you dare. BENIFALLET as some caves, not as magnificent as Cheddar Gorge but quiet impressive. The list goes on, dont be affraid to explore the area you'll be rewarded with a wonderful experience and sights that will stay with you forever.
